Super Water Bomber – Fighting bully’s with water-bombs

It’s fair to say at one stage in our lives or another, we’ve all been bullied. Whether it’s sibling rivalry or the little oik at school who you wish would leave you alone, there’s always someone who’s given you a tough time.

Thankfully in most cases these nasty so-and-so’s tend to get what they deserve and more often than not, you grow from the experience. But for those out there who can’t wait for that day to come there’s Super Water Bomber who is standing up for the little guys and girls out there and evening up the score one bully at a time. OK, perhaps the bullies we’ve experienced in our lives should deserve something other than a rubber balloon filled with water soaking them to the bone, but then again as my mother always says, violence doesn’t solve anything, so perhaps this is a good way of seeing them off.

As in real life there are different kinds of bullies. Some are dweeby types which just have a big mouth, then you have the more physically tough ones who tend to do more than call names, and this is reflected in the game. You have the puny bully who just needs a good hit from a water-bomb to see him off, whereas you have a tougher one who needs either two good shots using a basic water-bomb or a single round using a different, more powerful type of water-bomb.

I doubt anyone’s truly seen the technology on offer in water-bombs. You have the basic water-bomb of course, but then you have the sniper version which is a far harder hitting kind. Alternatively with the bullies hiding behind objects, you might wish to use a timer to help hit the bad guys, or even a TNT version which will help clear obstacles out of the way.

Fortunately, as you probably know, many bullies aren’t that smart and this is again the case in this game. Many of the bad guys don’t know what’s happening until it’s too late and they’re left to lick their wounds. However, if you don’t get an accurate hit, they will reply by firing water-bombs in your direction, which of course have the same results on you.

Ultimately, the game offers a good challenge and light-hearted fun. With quite a few levels and more challenging enemies and obstacles to overcome, the game does offer quite a few moments of fun. Unfortunately the game doesn’t get too difficult and you can easily complete it in around an hour. That being said however, you’re scored on accuracy, efficiency and not being injured yourself, so it could offer more difficulty to complete the game by getting the maximum score possible than simply just eliminating all the bullies.
