Misty Miles: Air Turbulance

Misty Miles: Air Turbulance – It sure beats queuing at the airport!

Most of us have seen air flight attendants, whether it’s been during a flight somewhere or watching one of those TV shows that reveal the highs and lows of working at an airport. So it comes as not much of a surprise to find out just how hard these attendants work to make sure your flight is comfortable as it can be (without any leg room).
In this game you have to play the part of Misty Miles who’s air stewardess who’s challenged to ensure the passengers needs are met; whether it’s a newspaper, a cup of coffee or even an in-flight meal. To do this you must wait for a passenger to put up a speech bubble indicating which one of the three they want. You then must swiftly move to the correct stand at the bottom of the screen and press down on the d-pad or keypad to pick up the item. You must then carry this down the aisle to deliver it to the customer, but remember you must be quick to do so as your passengers are quick to get very hot-headed. You get good points for not making the passenger wait too long, but the more time you leave them the lower the score and needless to say the way the game ends is if you can’t meet the customer’s needs in time.
The controls are simple, pressing the keys in the direction you wish to move in and then moving the controls to stop at the passenger when you have a tray full for them. The game’s not as plain sailing as it seems however as you’re not the only flight attendant on the screen. They may be helping out with dealing with the passenger’s needs but they block the aisle preventing you to gain access to the demanding client.
If I was to find any fault, it would be that with all the passengers stacked on-top of one another it’s not too clear to see which one is demanding your attention so without knowing you could spend quite a few attempts trying to deliver it to the customer. This costs you valuable time and could actually cost you the game.
In the end then this game offers a good time and endless fun – especially if you want to compete with beating your best high score. If you’re good at memorising the order of the customer’s demands then you will be able to find yourself getting an incredibly respectable score.
