Mighty Wizard

If Bobby Carrot is really fun for you to play but you fancy something a little more magical for your tastes then perhaps give Mighty Wizard a go?
This puzzling game forces you to really test your solving skills to their limit. The idea of the game is to push magic cubes over lights through a series of interconnected maze-like courses. Be warned, your wizard is only strong enough to push one cube at a time and should you end up putting the cube into a corner, you will be forced to start the level again from scratch due to his inability to grab and pull the crystal coloured block from its confined space.
Once you have moved your blocks over the specially marked square then you will see a brief laser-like beam appear from the top of the cube. After you have placed the last cube over the corresponding spot your wizard will be able to open up a portal to teleport to the next level. In transporting, you will encounter four nicely detailed worlds: magic forest, mystical rocks, snow mountains and burning plains.
This game is very enjoyable and quite taxing at times, as nearly every new level you explore will be devilishly harder than the last – so don’t let the initial simple appearance deceive you – it will often be the root of your undoing. To those familiar with this style of game you will instantly feel right at home and indeed wondering why you hadn’t heard about this game sooner than now. For those of you a little unsure about what’s in store for you, it’s quite quick to get the basics – often the hardest thing about this game is how the up, down, left and right controls transfer to your character on screen as you see it from an angle, and yes, a quick press in the wrong direction can spell disaster if you’re unlucky (however, you will probably do this once and swiftly learn never to repeat this mistake again).
In a nutshell this is a very good puzzle game which will certainly keep your busy little fingers and indeed mind occupied for many hours of fun and will indeed induce quite a few ‘oh so nearly’ moments which will leave you quite exasperated at the time but also will make you refuse to give up without a good fight first. This is a game which is suitable for children and adults alike. This is definite entertaining and fantastically addictive and seeing the wizard rejoice in celebration when successfully completing a level makes all the hair-pulling moments worthwhile.
