Partner Check

Have you had suspicions about your significant other or are you just curious about your compatibility? Well if so there’s a potentially useful application for your phone where you can put your relationship to the test by answering a few questions.

Aimed at the male market, Partner Check lets you input your name and your girlfriend’s name into the fields provided and then gives you the chance to input the date you started your relationship. After a tiny introduction you are then asked a series of 12 questions which cover your fun, love and sex lives. By answering the questions truthfully you will be given a graph showing the compatibility from the answers you provided. After the graph you will be given a written explanation about your circumstances as to how much of a perfect match you are (or not) and what makes you tick and if you’re just destined to be friends rather than anything more significant.

As this is aimed at the guys rather than the girls (although it does work the other way round too), you have quite an emphasis on the sexual aspects of your relationship rather than the fun or love aspects. This for me does kind of load the dice in the outcome.

To be fair I did try the application out a few times and although there were some repeated questions, there were some new ones too which appeared each time. This meant that rather than keeping to the same pattern of responses of yes, no, sometimes and often, you will get some variety and this will reflect in the results.

I was a little unsure as to the accuracy of the programme as the game is clearly translated (rather badly) throughout, which leads to misunderstanding the questions being asked and therefore flaws the results of the tests. However, if you can generally get the gist of what you’re being asked, then you stand half a chance in getting a plausible answer at the end of your test.

As this is a programme for your mobile phone rather than a proper in depth psychological test, I would sincerely advise you to think long and hard about the result that you are given before taking any action upon them. If you live your life according to this programme I would suggest having your head seen to by a professional.

Overall then, this is a rather fun and quick application to get some insight into your relationship. As there are only 12 questions to answer it’s far from the most thorough compatibility test and therefore I believe the results are a little bit fallible and should only be taken with a pinch of salt at best.
