Sudoku Deluxe

The huge craze which has become a worldwide phenomenon, Sudoku, has been available on the mobile phone for some time, but Sudoku Deluxe is certainly the best one of its kind to ever grace the handheld screen.
For those of you unfamiliar with Sudoku, it’s a puzzle originally created in Japan, where you must correctly identify the appropriate numbers (from 1 to 9) to fill in the empty squares. You must have only one number between 1 and 9 within both horizontal and vertical lines and also within the 3x3 grid. To start with, you are given a handful of numbers in various random squares and depending on your deductive skills and excellence with number juggling you will be able to solve the puzzle from there.
Sudoku Deluxe is an excellent all-round package with three difficulty levels, Beginner, Advanced and Professional. The main difference between these levels is the amount of numbers you are given to begin with and the position they are located. To add another level of difficulty, more so for your own goal than anything, you can time yourself with the included timer.
This is a great game as it provides nearly an unlimited amount of possibilities so rather than having to purchase books or newspapers for the challenge, this offers fantastic value and convenience. Another advantage this game offers is that you’re able to erase a mistake and have hints running in the background – which highlights any duplicate (wrong) numbers. Additionally you’re able to cheat or compare your results with the correct answer.
A nice touch that this game offers you is the option to ‘pencil’ in your working out and then use the ‘pen’ to mark in the answer you want to go for. As mentioned you can rub out and alter the numbers as you go. Naturally, as you would expect, once you’ve filled in the correct answers the timer stops (if you’re using it) and the game is won. If, for whatever reason, you’re not able to work out the puzzle you can always have a go at another Sudoku puzzle.
In summery, if you like puzzles and love playing Sudoku on the train or bus or while you have a minute to yourself at home, then you must, must, must get this game, you will love it. The name says it all, this is the complete package and you will not be disappointed.
