I’m sure that nearly everyone out there seeks perfection, not just in their mobile but also in their lives. Well it just so happens that this next title will manage to not just get your heart racing but keep it pumping for some time to come.
Mobile Body Trainer is the mobile version of the various keep-fit and healthy ‘games’ to grace the various platforms found readily available in nearly all homes. Ok, well game is perhaps not the right word to use here, as it’s more educational than a game – but like its counterparts, it is entertaining and a useful title which would help encourage those not so readily disposed to go to the gym and working out.
You are able to fill in your basic information; name, age, weight, sex etc and from that it will determine your weight and height and compare this to the BMI (Body Mass Index) to then tell you whether you are over or underweight and put together a full body workout to suit your needs. Don’t be fooled by the small size of this package, you will put through your paces in a rigorous plan. From start-up and warm up exercises to develop your aerobic movement to muscle strengthening exercises to get your body toned and built. For those of you out there who know a thing or two about keeping trim and can navigate your way round the gym, you will be pleased to see that this title includes the Course Navette stamina test (which measures your cardio-respiratory ability). However in all honesty, if you are already pretty enthusiastic about working out then I would imagine you’d probably only use this at best as a way to complement your existing regimen rather than replacing it altogether. Having said that, this would be fantastic if you’re looking to keep active and save on expensive gym membership costs – ideal for this current economic climate. I would also recommend this could be a great gift for someone (but just be careful that they don’t think there’s an ulterior motive to your kindness).
A nice feature and as far as I’m aware, unique trait, is the ability to pick whether you’re looking to work out indoors or outdoors. This not only impacts the exercises you will do but also helps you with keeping your fitness fresh and exciting and utilising everything at your disposal to keep you fit and well.
You are given a stick-man and written explanation of each task you are to complete and then when you are ready you can press go and begin. As you can imagine it’s not always easy to do a workout whilst holding your mobile so conveniently you are given a reassuring beep to keep your movements in time. This helps to ensure you not only don’t over-do it, but also do the exercises correctly and therefore having the best effects.
In brief then, this is a fantastic pocket exercise tutor which will either get you in the swing of things or add to your current exercise plan. You may find that for some exercises you will need to have some weights at hand, but this won’t be necessary for all exercises and if you wish you can skip an exercise and try another instead.
