Have you ever wanted to be a computer genius who can crack government codes and reveal sensitive material or tear down company websites and replace them with rather funny images and text? Then perhaps you should try being a hacker!

Alright, being a hacker’s not the best option should you be looking to stay the right side of the law so please consider that option carefully and don’t give your desired career path away in a career development appointment at school as it would be a big no-no!

Instead why don’t you give Hacker a go for your mobile phone? This is a logical puzzle solving game which will definitely test your brains to their limit. You must assemble codes which are shown as representative figures on a grid.

The codes are shown as figures ranging from number 1 to 4 and then back to 1 again should the cycle go all the way round. The number changes the more blocks you highlight on the grid in adjoining squares. So it not only matters to get your right squares highlighted but in the correct sequence! You can undo your last move should you make an error, but if you have made a couple of errors you have to restart the code input sequence again – and be quick about it, time’s always against you, as is the long arm of the law!

There’s a couple of gaming options, the Walkthrough, where you must pass all the game levels but aren’t running against the clock. Alternatively there’s the Survival mode where you will have to sort out the puzzle of the code within the time limit. As you would expect both games are increasingly difficult with every round.

Scoring’s simple for the Survival mode, you get points for the speed of your hacking capabilities. Should you run out of time, you will be busted by the police and given your total. However, you have as many attempts as you wish in completing the puzzle so don’t worry if you get caught out – it happens to everyone!

So in brief, get this game if you enjoy outwitting the cunning computer defences and the law. This is an enjoyable puzzle which will keep you guessing and indeed frantically hitting the keys to try and successfully accomplish the level. You are certainly going to be experiencing the pressure as the clock winds down and you can almost hear the sirens approach in the distance when you’re properly hooked in this game. The graphics are simplistic but elegant and effective and the puzzles are truly wicked.
